Pilosocereus glaucescens is a slender, blue-green columnar cactus known for its powdery, glaucous skin and soft, woolly areoles. Young plants form upright columns that gradually thicken and may branch with age under the right conditions.
This species is valued for its clean architectural form and subtle colouring rather than heavy spination. Plants are supplied as established, rooted specimens grown under nursery conditions.
