The variegation can vary from leaf to leaf, adding to the visual interest. The underside of the leaves is often a deep red colour, adding to their appeal.

- Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix that is rich in organic matter.
- Temperature: Maintain cool to moderate temperatures between 10-24°C (50-75°F). Avoid exposing this plant to extreme heat or frost.
- Fertiliser: Use a diluted liquid fertiliser once a month during the growing season (spring and summer).
