Selenicereus anthonyanus is an epiphytic cactus grown for its flat, deeply lobed “fishbone” stems and its large, fragrant night-opening flowers when mature.
Care
- Light: Bright filtered light. Avoid harsh afternoon sun, especially behind glass.
- Water: Water well during warm growth periods, then allow the mix to partially dry. Reduce watering in cooler months.
- Temperature: Prefers warm conditions. Protect from cold and frost.
- Media: Free-draining epiphytic mix (chunky bark/coarse perlite/pumice with a little quality compost or coco).
- Feeding: Light, regular feeding in spring and summer.
