Native to South Africa, this rare variegated form adds a beautiful cascading effect to hanging baskets and thrives in well-lit environments.
Distinctive Features
- Variegated Pearl-like Leaves: Small, rounded leaves display a unique marbling of green, white, and pink, making each strand visually captivating.

- Fragrant White Blooms: Produces dainty white flowers with a subtle cinnamon fragrance, often appearing in late spring and summer.
Care Tips
- Light: Requires bright, indirect sunlight; some morning sun helps enhance variegation but avoid intense afternoon sun.
- Water: Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out between watering to prevent root rot.
- Humidity: Prefers low humidity and thrives in dry conditions.
- Media: Use a well-draining succulent or cactus mix with added perlite or sand.
- Temperature: Ideal range is 18-24°C; protect from frost.
- Fertiliser: Apply a diluted balanced fertiliser once a month during the active growing season.
- Repotting: Repot every two to three years to maintain healthy growth and refresh the soil.
Additional Notes
- Variegated varieties grow slightly slower than their non-variegated counterparts due to reduced chlorophyll.
- Easily propagated by stem cuttings; variegation may vary in new growth.
- Toxic to pets if ingested, so keep out of reach of cats and dogs.
