This cultivar is recognised for its foliage that displays a blend of pink-red tones with green margins, which may deepen or soften depending on light conditions and leaf maturity. The arrow-shaped juvenile leaves may gradually develop more defined lobes as the plant matures, although in many indoor settings it retains its juvenile form. In its natural habitat, the species grows as a climbing plant, using adventitious roots to attach to surrounding vegetation.
