Syngonium podophyllum 'Neon'

Syngonium podophyllum 'Neon' is a brightly coloured cultivar of the Central and South American climbing aroid Syngonium podophyllum. It is valued for its arrowhead-shaped leaves in shades of soft pink to salmon, often with a subtle greenish undertone that becomes more pronounced as the foliage matures. New leaves tend to emerge in a brighter, more luminous pink, creating a layered effect of colour across the plant. Like the species, it can transition from compact juvenile growth to more lobed, mature leaves if provided with vertical support. In its wild form, Syngonium podophyllum inhabits the shaded understory of humid tropical forests, anchoring itself to tree trunks with aerial roots.
