Syngonium podophyllum 'Pixie' is a compact cultivated variety of the species native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. This miniature form produces small arrow-shaped leaves with creamy-white central colouring bordered by mid to dark green margins. Its reduced size and slow growth habit make it well-suited to small containers, terrariums, or desk displays. In nature, the species climbs by means of adventitious roots, though 'Pixie' is usually maintained as a small potted plant.
Care Tips:
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light; avoid prolonged exposure to direct sun to protect leaf colour.
Water: Water when the upper layer of soil has begun to dry; avoid keeping the mix soggy.
Humidity: Moderate to high humidity is beneficial; mist occasionally in drier indoor conditions.
Media: Use a free-draining, organic-rich potting mix.
Temperature: Maintain between 18-27°C; protect from cold draughts.
Fertiliser: Feed every 4-6 weeks during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertiliser.
Repotting: Repot every 1-2 years or when root growth becomes dense.

Plant Health Certification (PHC) Fees:
$20 fee applies to WA orders.
$10 fee applies to NT and TAS orders.
This fee is per order (not per plant) and is included in your shipping cost at checkout. It covers the mandatory biosecurity treatments (ICA-29, PS-27, ICA-62) required for interstate compliance.
