Syngonium 'Sunshine' is a cultivated variety derived from Syngonium podophyllum, a species native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. This cultivar is distinguished by its soft yellow to light green foliage, sometimes with faint variegation that becomes more apparent in brighter conditions. Like other Syngoniums, it produces arrow-shaped juvenile leaves in indoor culture, with the potential to form more lobed leaves if given suitable climbing support.
Care Tips:
Light: Bright, indirect light helps maintain leaf colour; avoid strong midday sun which may cause leaf burn.
Water: Water when the upper soil layer begins to dry; do not allow the plant to sit in stagnant water.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity; mist occasionally if grown in a dry environment.
Media: Use a free-draining, organic-rich potting mix.
Temperature: Keep between 18-27°C; protect from sudden cold changes.
Fertiliser: Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser every 4-6 weeks during active growth.
Repotting: Repot every 1-2 years or when roots begin to fill the pot.

Biosecurity States (WA, NT, TAS): These orders require mandatory biosecurity treatment (PHC) and follow a specific weekly schedule:
Cut-off: Orders must be placed by Thursday 11:59 PM AEST.
Dispatch Day: Orders are processed over the weekend and dispatched on Tuesday.
Plant Health Certification (PHC) Fees:
$20 fee applies to WA orders.
$10 fee applies to NT and TAS orders. This fee is per order (not per plant) and is included in your shipping costat checkout.
