Tillandsia ionantha 'Curly' is a selected cultivar of Tillandsia ionantha, known for its distinctive curling leaf habit. Like the species, it originates from tropical regions of Mexico and Central America, where it grows on trees in bright, humid environments. This cultivar maintains the compact size and red blushing foliage typical of ionantha but adds a unique twist—literally. The leaves curl and twist outward, giving the plant a unique appearance.
