Tillandsia ionantha 'Peachy Pink'

Tillandsia ionantha 'Peachy Pink' is a selected cultivar of the widely grown Tillandsia ionantha, chosen for its distinctive blushing pattern during the bloom cycle. While the species typically flushes red, this cultivar exhibits soft peach to warm pink hues across the upper leaves as it approaches flowering. Like the typical form, it is native to Central America and Mexico, where it grows in warm, humid forests at varying elevations. Its compact form and vivid colouration make it a favourite for small displays and terrariums with sufficient ventilation.

Care Tips:

• Light: Prefers bright, filtered light; can tolerate short periods of morning sun
• Water: Mist 3–4 times per week or soak weekly; ensure quick drying to prevent rot
• Humidity: Performs well in moderate to high humidity with good airflow
