Titanopsis primosii
A relative of the Stone Plants, Titanopsis are succulents able to survive high sun and extreme neglect. They form very small compact clusters that have small yellow flowers in Autumn.
Position - full sun to partial shade in covered areas to control watering. Not suited for gardens.
Watering - should be watered well but should dry out completely after watering; shallow pots will help with this. Plants will survive without water for many months but need water a few times over the warmer months. The plant will tell you if it needs water, as leaves will soften a little. When new leaves are growing do not water. Overwatering can kill Titanopsis so if in doubt, don't water.
Feeding - 25% of recommended dosage monthly in growing period. The less fertiliser, the better the shape of the plant. Fertilisers high in nitrogen can produce larger plants with less colour.
Repotting - can be left to overgrow their pots or repotted in the warmer months in a well-drained potting mix.
