Previously known as Trichocereus pasacana, this majestic plant is renowned for its towering presence, reaching heights of up to 10 metres (33 feet) and a diameter of up to 70 centimetres (28 inches). Its massive, columnar stems are a testament to its resilience and longevity, making it a true icon of the arid regions it calls home.
