Vanda Allience Orchid JVB x Rattana

JVB x Rattana is a Vanda alliance orchid hybrid that produces large orange flowers, often with a slight sheen and rounded, overlapping petals. Blooms are typically arranged along an upright inflorescence and may appear multiple times per year under warm, bright growing conditions. The plant has firm, upright foliage with thick aerial roots and grows best when given ample light and humidity.

Care Tips:

• Light: Requires very bright light, including some direct sun. Avoid overheating in enclosed spaces.
• Water: Water daily in warm conditions, allowing roots to dry slightly between watering. Reduce frequency in cooler weather.
• Humidity: Prefers high humidity above 60%, with constant air movement.
• Media: Best grown in open baskets or mounted, using large orchid bark or charcoal to allow free root exposure.
• Temperature: Warm-growing; ideal range is 18–30 °C.
• Fertiliser: Apply a diluted orchid fertiliser weekly during active growth. Flush monthly to avoid salt accumulation.
