Tillandsia 'Cotton Candy'
Tillandsia 'Cotton Candy' is a popular hybrid between Tillandsia stricta and Tillandsia recurvifolia, combining the appealing traits of both parents. It was originally registered by Paul T. Isley III and is widely cultivated for its showy, long-lasting inflorescence and manageable size. The plant forms a soft, silvery rosette with gently arching leaves and produces a cluster of bright pink bracts, from which delicate violet flowers emerge. It thrives in bright, well-ventilated conditions and is suited to both indoor and outdoor displays.
Distinctive features:

- Inflorescence resembles pink candyfloss with soft, overlapping bracts
- Flowers are pale violet, emerging successively over several days
