This unique air plant is prized for its silvery-green, trichome-covered leaves and striking coral-red flower spikes. Unlike many other Tillandsia species, it produces a large, showy bloom that can persist for weeks, making it a favourite among collectors.
Care Tips:
Light: Prefers bright, indirect sunlight or filtered light; can tolerate some direct sun.
Water: Mist 2–3 times a week, ensuring water drains well to prevent rot; soak occasionally in dry conditions.
Humidity: Appreciates moderate humidity but adapts well to drier air with proper hydration.
Media: Grows best mounted on driftwood, stone, or other breathable surfaces—does not require soil.
