Spathiphyllum floribundum 'Sensation Variegata'
Peace Lilies are well suited for indoor use and very popular for indoor planters and terrariums.
This is a compact tight growing form of Spathiphyllum which càn survive well under low light.
They are moderately slow growing but will eventually require dividing to keep compact; they will also do very well in pots and will tower once mature in well-lit positions.
Water well if kept in pots but sparingly in terrariums; potting mix must be allowed to almost dry between waterings. Keep in some direct sunlight or provide artificial light.
Avoid heaters and draughty positions.
Fertiliser should be only used it you would like the plant to grow.
Lack of fertiliser will keep plants shorter and more compact. Temperatures above 20 deg C will speed up growth, between 15 and 20 deg C growth will be extremely slow and plants can be pruned or divided to keep compact.
